Nollywood veteran actress Margaret Umanah crashed in a ghastly motor accident along the Lagos-Benin Expressway few days ago.
Margaret Umanah, based in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State, was one of the biggest actresses in the South-East and a very popular and active member in the industry. She would be remembered for her roles in some Ibibio indigenous movies like 'Eka Abasi', a blockbuster epic local movie.
According to foremost movie producer and director in the state, Moses Eskor, a condolence meeting will be held in her honour tomorrow, Friday, 16 May, 2014.
Margaret Umanah's death is the fifth one among movie practitioners who have died since the beginning of this year.
May her soul rest in peace.

Actress Stella Damasus Is Angry With Anti-#BringBackOurGirls Supporters

Nollywood actress Stella Damasus is angry with people who attacked and insulted her when she joined the #BringBackOurGirls campaign and doubted that there was any abduction of the female students of the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
Stella Damasus like other Nigerian and foreign celebrities joined the #BringBackOurGirls campaign and spoke passionately about the need to rescue the girls but a lot of people went to war with her as some expressed their doubts saying that the kidnap saga was just a political gimmick. However, after the video with the girls abducted by Boko Haram was released, the mother of two called out to those who disparaged her.

A 23-year-old American woman committed suicide in sacrifice to the singer Beyonce who she considered "lord and saviour", Pulse reports.

US music star Beyonce Knowles is not only the singer admired by millions of people from all over the world, but also an object of worship by a group of people, the followers of National Church of Bey.
The newly-made religion is called Beyism. The church counts hundreds of members, who call themselves Divine Divas and consider Bey's music sacred.
The deceased, Taniya Hattersfield, was reportedly a new member of the church. According to the local media, her dead body was found in the basement of her family home, College Park, Georgia, surrounded by a self-made shrine dedicated to the star.

A lot of people all over the world supported this campaign, but Russian model Irina Shayk chosen a different approach as she poses topless with #BringBackOurGirls card.
Irina's controversial photo has earned her both positive and negative comments from her fans. Some of them believe the lingerie model’s picture will create more awareness to the social media campaign, others think the model is insensitive to the plight of the abducted girls.

Nigeria along and the agencies from all over the world participate in the operation aimed at rescue of more than 230 girls abducted by Boko Haram insurgents on April 14 from Chibok school, Borno State.
The viral hashtag #BringBackOurGirl raised awareness of the issue in the social media.
