Speaking with Sun News, former beauty queen and Joseph Yobo's wife, Adaeze Igwe Yobo, opened up on how they met, how fast they got married, and the joys motherhood. Excerpts below...

How did you meet your hus­band?
I met him in Nigeria through a friend at an event. From there, we became close friends. I became pregnant and we got married im­mediately. Everything happened in a very short time. A lot of people thought it wasn’t going to work but at that moment, I knew I felt something I had never felt with anyone in my life and I said to myself, why not take that chance? I’m quite prayerful , so I knew there’s no way I could err, though I never planned getting married so early. I had so many dreams of what I wanted in life. Mar­riage was the last thing on my mind. The actress was siad to have flown her dad to India for treatment two years ago due to same illness but unfortunately he passed on.
Chika Ike posted the photo of her dad below on instagram with caption: “RIP my first Love. I miss you. Words can’t explain how much it hurts. I will always love you Dad.”

A ridiculously huge fan of Manchester United in Kenya decided to made his wedding day football-related.

The groom apparently enjoyed a United-themed wedding which was all about the club he supports, right down to the altar, the groom’s outfit – and even the cake! When the bride may look pretty livid with it all.

The couple’s wedding cake was also United-themed consisting of red icing with huge ads for car sponsor Chevrolet plus their honeymoon car was covered in a United flag.

DSS to quiz Alimodu Sheriff over Boko Haram sponsorship allegation

The Department of State Security, DSS, says it will be inviting former Borno state governor, Alimodu Sheriff, for questioning following recent allegations leveled against him by Australian hostage negotiator, Stephen Davis, who said he's a Boko Haram sponsor.

Speaking at a news conference today in Abuja, spokesperson for DSS, Marilyn Ogar, said the former governor had in the past been invited to the DSS office for questioning over Boko Haram activities and they will be inviting him again.
