He signed the endorsement deal for several millions of Naira last week and will be officially unveiled soon, a source revealed exclusively to LIB. And yes, it's just Peter, not P-Square. This is the first time one of them will be endorsing a brand without the other.

Gogowe releases new video for Stand Up

Talented young Nigerian artiste, Gogowe has released a new single titled Stand Up Nigeria to commemorate the 54th independence of the country.

With the infusion of different Nigerian ethnic languages in the highly infectious chorus, the song cut across all tribes and it seems there can’t be a better song to celebrate the country’s 54th independence anniversary.

The new single was produced by fast rising producer, Bvybes while ace cinematographer, Clarence Peters interpreted the song with a very entertaining video shot at Idanre Hills in Ondo State. Gogowe, a gifted singer, energetic dancer and song writer started singing at the age of seven.

Former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN and first female President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Mrs Oluremi Oyo has died. She died yesterday October 1st at a hospital in London. Her husband, Mr Vincent Oyo confirmed her death this morning. Mrs Oyo had been battling with cancer for a while.

60 Nigerian soldiers to face trial for mutiny today

60 Nigerian soldiers including 2 corporals, 9 Lance corporals and 49 privates who refused to partake in an operation in Maiduguri on August 4th will be arraigned before a military court today Sept. 30th at the Sani Abacha barracks in Abuja for committing two offenses, conspiring to mutiny and mutiny.

According to the charge sheet, on August 4th the soldiers had refused to join the "111 SF Bn troops" led by Col E. A. Aladeniyi to Maimalari Barracks for an operation, thereby committing an offence tagged "conspiring to mutiny" against the authority of the division, an offence punishable under Section 91(1) of the Penal Code Cap P89 LFN 2004 as well as outright mutiny which is punishable under Section 52(1)(a) of the AFA CAP A20 LFN 2004.

$9.3m arms deal scandal: Oritsejafor breaks silence, says I have no hand in it

The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, yesterday broke his silence over the $9.3m arms deal scandal in which his private jet was used to carry the huge sum of money out of Nigeria to South Africa. 'Waconzy vs Malaria campaign', to roll back malaria in Niger-Delta riverine areas

Waconzy, who is passionate about eradicating malaria has taken his 'Waconzy vs Malaria' campaign to Niger-Delta. In 2013, Waconzy’s silver-spoon foundation launched the Waconzy Versus Malaria Zero Tolerance Campaign in Lagos (see pictures here) and since then, so many Nigerians have benefited via his campaign donations.
