'He loves to look at Chelsea' - Mourinho bites back at Wenger over 'failure' jibe

'He loves to look at Chelsea' - Mourinho bites back at Wenger over 'failure' jibe
The Stamford Bridge boss has previously labelled the Arsenal manager as a "voyeur" but the Portuguese still claims the Frenchman focuses heavily on his rival
Jose Mourinho has accused Arsene Wenger of being obsessed with Chelsea, claiming that the Arsenal boss "loves to look at this football club".

The Frenchman had claimed Portuguese's reluctance to declare the Blues title contenders was down to a "fear to fail” - a criticism which led Mourinho to denounce his rival as "a specialist in failure”.

During pair’s feud in Mourinho’s first spell at Stamford Bridge, he labelled Wenger a "voyeur" and the Chelsea boss still believes Wenger is preoccupied with the west London outfit.

“He loves to look at this football club,” the former Real Madrid coach said when asked if Wenger’s comments annoyed him.

“I thought between 2007 and 2013 that would be enough time for him forget but he always likes to look at this club.

'I'm dedicated to the game' - Messi dismisses Cappa claims
The former Blaugrana assistant coach argued the forward had "lost his passion for football" but the Argentina international insists the comments were without foundation
Barcelona star Lionel Messi has hit back at Angel Cappa's claims that he has fallen out of love with the game
The 67-year-old Argentine, who worked under former Blaugrana boss Cesar Luis Menotti at Camp Nou in the 1980s, suggested earlier this month that his compatriot had "lost his passion for football" after becoming bored of his "15-year marriage" to the sport.

However, Messi, who only recently recovered from a hamstring injury, insists he remains "dedicated" to playing.

Barcelona need Iniesta improvement to win the big prizes

Barcelona need Iniesta improvement to win the big prizes
The Spain midfielder has looked closer to his brilliant best over the last two matches and his return to form is a timely boost as the Catalans chase trophies on three fronts
Last season, he was Barcelona's best player. This term, however, he has been a shadow of his former self. So, Andres Iniesta's improvement over the last couple of games represents a timely boost ahead of the Blaugrana's biggest tests. Finally, the midfielder looks to be back on board - just when they need him most.
It has taken a while. Iniesta initially struggled to make his mark under Gerardo Martino and found himself in an unusual position: out of the team and out of the limelight, the Spain star has had to play second fiddle to both Neymar and Cesc Fabregas in the early stages of the current campaign.
Fabregas' fine form has been one of the big plus points from Barca's season so far. The former Arsenal captain has played his finest football as a Barcelona player under Martino and he has been rewarded with an extended run in the side. Neymar, meanwhile, has restricted Andres' appearances further forward, on the left flank, where he was often picked under Pep Guardiola and Tito Vilanova in order to accommodate another midfielder.

Tennis and swimming told to boost numbers or lose funding

Wimbledon

Tennis, swimming, squash, fencing, basketball and table tennis have all been granted funds to increase levels of participation.
However, some of the money has been held back from the governing bodies of tennis, basketball and squash.
Funding will be provided directly to programmes at grassroots level.
"There are tough messages here for national governing bodies," said Sport England chief executive Jennie Price.
"If they don't grow participation, we will reduce their funding and we won't make long-term investments until we have confidence in their ability to deliver."
This is how the six sports were affected by Sport England's measures:

The Belgian forward was in scintillating form as he netted his first treble in English football, taking advantage of slips by Arsenal and Manchester City to put his side first

Eden Hazard scored his hat-trick in English football as Chelsea moved to the top of the Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 win over Newcastle on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho's men took advantage of Arsenal's 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool and Manchester City's goalless draw with Norwich City to leapfrog their title rivals.

Hazard was the hero, the 23-year-old producing a virtuoso performance and taking his goal tally for the season to 14 with an impressive treble. The Belgian opened the scoring midway through the first half with an emphatic finish and his second quickly followed as he rounded off a superb Chelsea breakaway after 34 minutes.

Norwich 0-0 Manchester City: Visitors drop to third after frustrating draw

Gary Hooper had a goal ruled out for offside in the first half while Manuel Pellegrini's men hit the bar as Chris Hughton's side effectively kept a lid on the title contenders

Manchester City drew a blank for the second time this week to lose vital ground in the title race with a 0-0 draw against Norwich City.
Manuel Pellegrini's previously free-scoring side – who last month reached 100 goals in all competitions faster than any team in the Premier League era - have run into unforeseen problems in their last two outings, losing the Premier League's top spot to Chelsea in the process.

A 1-0 loss at home to Jose Mourinho's side on Monday was compounded by another lacklustre display at Carrow Road – the absence of Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho due to a muscle strain once again keenly felt.
