Nollywood Actress, Omotola Receives ASGA Award In Cyprus

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde who travelled to Cyprus on May 14th looked stunning as she received an achievement and appreciation award at the African students Grand Awards (ASGA) in Cyprus.
The UN ambassador and Activist who was on a four day visit to Cyprus was a special guest and speaker at the Eastern Mediterranean University's (EMU) career fest, where she gave the students a motivational, career opportunities and personal achievement talk.
Omotola received a warm welcome from the Rector, vice rector, academic staff and representing African students of the school, and was also taken around the school and the Island.

The happily married mother of four is the first celebrity ever invited by the foremost University during its career opportunity forum.

Wizkid Shoots New Video In 'Surulere'

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, who was in Surulere to shoot a video for his latest single 'Show Me The Money' has shared dazzling looking photos from the video shoot. 
The 24-year-old award-winning singer photos showed him embracing his past life with love in his childhood neighbourhood, Shitta, Surulere, Lagos State.
The song sensation was shown a lot of love by ‘friends from the hood’ who put up a celebratory air throughout the duration of his stay.
The new video, however, followed the extravagant ‘Ginger’ video with LAX, which shows the starboy in several locations around Lagos.
The video would display a lot of fashion themes because, Wizkid during the shoot was photographed wearing an African print shirt, urban casual outfits, and a corporate ensemble.
According to him, the new album is expected to be in the market by June 2014.

Brothers Okoye, popularly known as P-Square, who recently rode the headlines with stories of their separation, shared photos where they are in a studio working on their 6th album.
On his official Instagram page, Peter Okoye posted pictures where he together with Paul Okoye and elder brother and manager, Jude Okoye, work on their next album saying "Watch out super fans. Something big about to hit u. #6thAlbum."
It was gathered that the new album, will contain songs such as ‘Personally’, and ‘Testimoney’ as well as many others.

Borno State to spend N150m to rehabilitate 53 escapee girls, parents

Borno State governor, Kashim Shettima, yesterday announced that the state government would be spending N150million for the rehabilitation of the 53 chibok girls that escaped from Boko Haram captivity as well as their parents whose source of livelihood was affected by the abduction, Sahara Reporters reports.

The Governor made this announcement when he received the Presidential Fact Finding Committee on the missing girls in his office yesterday. Gov Shettima decried the notion by some people that the missing Chibok girls was a scam or that it was a staged attempt by the state government to stop emergency rule extension in the state. He said the missing Malaysian plane was a good example of what is happening now, saying that with all the theories mounting up of the possibility that the passengers are dead, rescue efforts with massive investment is still going on in the search of the missing plane.

Actor Michael Jace Kills Wife In Front Of Children

American actor Michael Jace was reportedly arrested and charged with homicide after the actor himself had called the emergency service 911.

CNN reports that the Hollywood actor shot his 40-year-old wife April on Monday, May 19. Their two children, both below 10,  witnessed the murder, TMZ provides.
Police revealed that the suspected motive of murder was domestic violence.
Police confirmed to CNN that Jace called 911 and said: "I shot my wife."
The actor gained popularity after featuring in the episodes of FX police drama The Shield, broadcast from 2002 to 2008.

Nollywood director, Aniedi Awah Nova in a recent interview says he doesn't see anything wrong in directors sleeping with actresses as there is no big deal in it.
