Actress Halima Abubakar Speaks Out On Being Single

Nollywood star Halima Abubakar, who has recently added another year, explains why she is still single.

The actress revealed that she had not got married because she could not find the right person, Nigeriafilms reports. She stressed the fact that it was impossible for her to settle down with any man just for the sake of the marriage. Thus, she does not want to rush into marriage.

 

Halima also added:

 

“There is lots of mistrust and we also have many irresponsible men so to speak. There are lots and lots of liars among men out there. And if they meet a girl that really loves them, they won’t know because they are used to lying.”

 

However, it is evident that like every woman the movie diva strives for real love. Just months ago she posted the so-called “marriage prayer” on her Instagram page begging Lord to “crash the plane of my singleness”. Meanwhile, earlier this year the actress disclosed that none of her family members were pressurising her to get married.
