Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh is helping spread the word on the deadly Ebola virus.
She released photos from her ad campaign on Ebola with a message advising people to regularly wash their hands.
She was also said to have taken on Nigerian celebrities who
participated in the ALS ice water challenge that is currently trending.
According to Nigeriafilms report, Tonto said: “We Africans always
want to blend with the western trend forgetting the fact we have our
own to think care about!! Most of you all involving in the ALS ice water
challenge don’t even know what ALS Stand for yet you want to do it
because is trending, just like you did when Our girls was kidnapped,
everyday it was all about #bringbackourgirls, is been months, days our
girls are still yet to be seen but No one is saying nothing about it!!
“Palz I like you all to join me in what I call
#WashYourHandsChallenge to help raise awareness of the deadly Disease
killing Hundreds and infecting thousands daily in Africa! I challenge
all you my Pals to take the #WashYourHandsChallenge, take a picture or a

Some few hours ago, Nollywood producer/director, Charles Novia took to social media to condemn Nigerian celebrities for participating in the Ice Bucket challenge.
Some of Nigerian celebrities who have taken part in the challenge
include Genevieve Nnaji, Psquare Peter Okoye, Davido and others.

Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian-American man who flew into Nigeria
already infected with Ebola virus passed it on to 11 other individuals
before he died, five of whom have also passed away while five others
have recovered.
Two new cases were reported today and they are the spouses of those who took care of Patrick Sawyer while he was in the hospital.
