"A Trip to Jamaica" highest grossing Nollywood movie of 2016 is set to premiere in United Kingdom this December.

  
Robert Peter's "A Trip to Jamaica," which premiered in Nigeria on September 30, 2016, is set to premiere in UK.
The box office record breaking movie will premiere in United Kingdom on Friday, December 9, 2016. The movie will also screen in cinemas on December 10 and 11, 2016.

Currently the highest grossing Nollywood movie of 2016 with 168 million naira, "A Trip to Jamaica" stars Hollywood  acts Roberts and Dan Davies, Jamaica acts Paul Campbell and Rebecca Silvera, Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh and Nigerian actors that include AY Makun, Funke Akindele, Nse Ikpe Etim, Patoranking, Cynthia Morgan and Ras Kimono.

Produced by Makun, "A Trip to Jamaica" chronicles more adventures of Akpors, a character created from the AYShow’s 'Who Wants To Be A Billionaire' hilarious skits.
Shot in Nigeria, America and Jamaica, the film focuses on Akpos (AY) and his Fiancée Bola (Funke Akindele), who travel across the Atlantic to visit family, they unexpectedly end up on an adventure they could never imagine.

The comedy movie grossed over 80 million naira in just 10 days of its release. It surpassed Omoni Oboli's "Wives on Strike" which grossed over 67 million naira, to become the highest grossing Nollywood movie of 2016.
AY Makun's first movie "30 Days in Atlanta" is currently the highest grossing Nollywood movie ever and gained a spot in the Guinness Book of Records.
