Nigerian midfielder James Olayinka on Monday joined League Two side Northampton Town on loan from Arsenal football club of England.
Premier League giants Arsenal, who rate the
Nigerian midfielder very highly have confirmed that the loan is subject to regulatory processes and will remain at his new club till the end of the season.
Arsenal confirming the news on it's official website, said;
"The 19 year-old midfielder joined the club aged seven, and has progressed through our youth development ranks, making his Premier League 2 debut at the start of the 2018/19 season at just 17."
"Olayinka’s progress was rewarded with a place in the first team squad's mid-season trip to Dubai in March 2019. He also travelled on the pre-season tour of the United States in July, where he scored a memorable goal in the win over Colorado Rapids in Denver."
"The Arsenal academy graduate has made 10 appearances for our U-23s and youth sides this season, scoring in the Premier League 2 against Everton earlier in January."
