A Nigerian mother has taken to social media to cry out after her 15-year-old daughter was suspended for two weeks from school. The unidentified woman said her daughter was suspended for being a member of a Marlians cult.

In a post shared by a Facebook user identified as Adebiyi Gabriel Olajide-Mackson, the woman had revealed that she got a call from her daughter's school to come over for an emergency.

The woman said she panicked and drove to the school only to be told that her daughter with over 25 female students would be suspended from SS1 to SS3 for being part of a secret cult known as the Marlians cult.

According to the woman, a teacher had found underwear in one of the girl's bags and when she was questioned, she revealed that she is part of a cult. The girl had revealed that the cult members had days that they do not wear underwear to school.

She said it was the same girl that listed the names of the other members of the group. The woman lamented, saying her daughter is a born again and the daughter of an elder and deaconess.

The woman also noted that some of her church members' children attend the same school and they all know that her daughter was part of the cult.

In the post, the woman vowed to beat her daughter even though she is someone that does not support flogging. She added that she would let the girl's father continue when he hears what she had done.

She also revealed that she had her daughter tested and found out she was still intact. She said she did so just to be sure that she was not violated in any way.
