Students of the Rochas Okorocha Foundation College in Orji-Uratta this morning staged a protest over the state crisis between the state government and their proprietor, Senator Rochas Okorocha.

The students carried different placards with the inscription ''Don't hurt our Daddy'', ''If you kill Daddy Rochas, you have killed Millions''.

Speaker Imo state House of Assembly, 7 other lawmakers defect to APC


Two weeks after the Supreme court annulled the election of Emeka Ihedioha as the governor of Imo state and affirmed APC's Hope Uzodinma as the new governor, the Speaker of the Imo state House of Assembly, Collins Chiji, and seven other members of the state assembly have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Ogun state governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Dapo Abiodun, on Saturday won his polling unit.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested the Accountant-General of Imo State, Uzoho Casmir, for allegedly helping Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha , to launder N1.05bn for the governorship and assembly elections on Saturday.

Okorocha, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress, is supporting his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu of the Action

Buhari declared winner of the Presidential Elections in Ogun State


President Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress has been declared winner of the presidential elections in Ogun state.

The State Collation Officer for the Presidential election, Prof. Joseph Adeola-Fuwape announced at the INEC headquarters in Abeokuta on Monday that Buhari scored 281,762 votes.

Presidential Poll: PDP clears 12 LGAs out of 13 declared in Delta

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won the Presidential election in 12 out the 13 Local Government Areas of Delta so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to the result declared by the Collation Officers of the LGAs on Monday in Asaba, PDP won in 12 local government areas while the APC won in one.

Election: Buhari leads in Yobe by wide margin


President Muhammadu Buhari is leading Abubakar Atiku by a wide margin in Yobe state after results in five local governments were declared at the presidential collation centre in Damaturu, the capital.

Prof. Abubakar Gundiri, Vice Chancellor, University of Wukari, who declared the results as returning officer, said Buhari polled 12,227 votes in Gujba while Atiku
