Actress Uchenna Nnanna Won't Dump Acting Because Of Marriage

Nollywood actress Uchenna Nnanna who recently got married to her Spain-based beau, Richard Uchechukwu Maduka, are now having fun in Spain and apparently isn't going to quit acting.
Actress Uche left the shores of the country for Spain to cool off with her man shortly after her wedding on April 21 at Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
There were rumours that after the marriage Uchenna Nnanna is going to dump acting to face her family, but according to an inside source, this isn't true.
"Uchenna is now in Spain with her husband. She left Nigeria some days ago and she is going to stay with him for some time and return to Nigeria later. She won't dump acting because of marriage," the source disclosed.

Kefee Collapses On Airplane During Flight To Chicago

Gospel singer and radio personality Kefee Obakeri-Esosa reportedly fainted while being on board the plane to Chicago.

Famous Germany-based Nigerian blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus posted the news adding that the plane had to make an emergency landing for the celebrity to receive medical attention.
According to Africanspotlight, the landing was carried out in Los Angeles, where Kefee is already responding to treatment.
TheNET tried to get in touch with the her husband to receive the official confirmation, but he didn't respond to the queries, neither did the singer's representatives.

Mama G, Aki, Mercy Aigbe, Others March For Kidnapped Schoolgirls

In a bid to add their voices to the call for the release of hundreds of schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents in Chobok, Borno State, some Nollywood stars led by Patience Ozokwor, popularly called Mama G, on Thursday staged a rally in Lagos, western Nigeria.
NAN reports that the actors, which included Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, Ejiro Okurame, Mercy Aigbe, Femi Ogedengbe, Thelma Okaz and Tony Akposhere, marched from Allen Avenue to Alausa Secretariat soliciting for the release of the abducted school girls.
It could be recalled that the Boko Haram insurgents kidnapped no fewer than 276 schoolgirls at the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State on 14 April, 2014.
More than seven weeks after the terror attack, the Islamist militant group are yet to release the girls claiming they would only swap them for their members captured by the Nigerian military.

While demonstrating earlier today, the Nollywood actors said the march was their own way of celebrating the Democracy Day because they were unhappy that the kidnapped school children were still being held by the Boko Haram sect.

Donald Sterling is no longer the controlling owner of the Los Angeles Clippers! TMZ reports that Donald has just surrendered control to his estranged wife, Shelly Sterling, and she is now secretly negotiating with the NBA to sell the team ... ON HER TERMS.

 

Sources connected with the Sterlings say Donald made the decision because he saw the handwriting on the wall -- as long as he remained in control, the NBA would order an involuntary sale of the team.

 

So, now, Shelly and her lawyer, Pierce O'Donnell, have been secretly meeting with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and NBA lawyers to "resolve the dispute amicably." Shelly realizes the NBA wants the team sold, but she has significantly more leverage and credibility with the league than Donald.  Her end game is simple -- she won't object to the sale, but SHE wants to call the shots.

Nicki Minaj responds to a Forbes article claiming Iggy Azalea runs Hip Hop

Nicki Minaj has responded to a Forbes article published on May 19th titled “Hip Hop Is Run By a White, Blonde, Australian Woman.”, describing rapper Izzy Azalea as the new princess of hip hop. The mag said while Minaj has been 'oddly quiet for months', Iggy's rise in the charts has been swift.

The comment made Nicki feel some type of way and when asked about it on Power 105′s The Breakfast Club yesterday, Nicki said;

“Listen. All Forbes needs to worry about is my finances and when I’m going to be selling Myx Fusions for $250 million. That’s all they need to worry about. We rely on hip-hop connoisseurs and blogs for that kind of information. So we appreciate it, but no thank you.”

Wizkid Shoots New Video In 'Surulere'

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, who was in Surulere to shoot a video for his latest single 'Show Me The Money' has shared dazzling looking photos from the video shoot. 
The 24-year-old award-winning singer photos showed him embracing his past life with love in his childhood neighbourhood, Shitta, Surulere, Lagos State.
The song sensation was shown a lot of love by ‘friends from the hood’ who put up a celebratory air throughout the duration of his stay.
The new video, however, followed the extravagant ‘Ginger’ video with LAX, which shows the starboy in several locations around Lagos.
The video would display a lot of fashion themes because, Wizkid during the shoot was photographed wearing an African print shirt, urban casual outfits, and a corporate ensemble.
According to him, the new album is expected to be in the market by June 2014.
