ANITA-PAUL-ANITA-PAUL-0107-600x400

One half of the PSquare music duo, Paul Okoye had a chat with Vanguard newspaper recently and he couldn’t help but gush about his lovely family – especially about his wife Anita.
Describing his marriage as a beautiful experience, he shared
“I never knew it’s a beautiful experience until I married my wife. If you are not married, you will never discover the truth about it. Whenever I sit down and look at my kids, I always say, Oh my God, these are my kids! I love my kids and I love my wife. That’s why I’m always smiling.”
So sweet.

US-based lady accuses Timaya of rape, shares voice recordings and chats

My attention was just drawn to an instagram page opened yesterday by an Atlanta based lady, who is accusing popular Nigerian singer Timaya of rape. The anonymous lady shared chats between herself and a person she claims is Timaya, she also shared voice recordings from their phone conversations. The last thing I want to do is ruin a career but if a lady cries rape, the media has a duty to at least hear her out but bear in mind that these are all allegations. Before posting the voice recordings, I played it to a few entertainers who confirmed that it's truly Timaya's voice, but at no point did he directly admit to rape...though he was begging the lady for forgiveness.

I will definitely reach out to Timaya for his own side of the story. For now, read the chats and listen to the voice recordings after the cut...

US senator calls Nigerian soldiers fighting Boko Haram, ‘rapists’

While in the US, president Buhari criticized the Leahy Law - a U.S. human rights law that prohibits the U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense from providing military assistance to foreign military units that violate human rights. Reacting, the sponsor of the Law, US Senator Patrick Leahy (the law is named after him) said Buhari is misguided in his criticism as the law, which has so far stopped the US govt from assisting Nigeria in the war against Boko Haram, can't be blamed for the atrocities committed by the 'murderers and rapists in the Nigerian military'.

'Lunatic' Lodge seen in Port Harcourt

This is meant to be a bus-stop shelter at First Bank Junction (Between Airforce and Rumuomasi) in Port Harcourt but it has obviously been taken over by debris and trash 'painstakingly collected' over months by a popular lunatic in the area who feels his 'dream home' needed to be built in that part of town by all means. This same lunatic sets fires under the Air Force - Stadium Road flyover which is a hazard as fire could weaken concrete and cause it to fault and crack under its own weight. I wish the Rivers State government does something about it - and fast too.
