A cleric, Prophet Okechukwu Daniel Udoka, has predicted that the PDP presidential
candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in the general elections.

The cleric said God had chosen Atiku to be the next president of Nigeria, noting that the PDP presidential candidate was not the messiah but said his regime would be better than the four past regimes, The Independent reports Prophet Udoka claimed God told him that nothing can stop Atiku from being the next president of Nigeria, adding that a greater number of Nigerians will vote for Atiku during the general elections.

“God told me that any man that would want to stop Atiku from entering will go down and might not witness Atiku’s celebration of victory ,"the cleric said.

“We have prayed against violence during the elections. I talked about conflict earlier but I know that God has taken control. When the election was going on, it was not favouring APC. I saw a different thing altogether. It was not free and fair. But children of God have prayed against that. I am not a full time minister but God has shown me so much love and grace,” he said.

“My message to Nigerians is to go out and obey the mind of God. He has chosen Atiku. He has even said that nothing will stop Atiku. Even if they plan negatively, God will thwart their plans. Even if we are hundred in Nigeria, and ten decide to cast their vote, a greater percentage will vote for Atiku. Whether we vote or not, Atiku will definitely win ."

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has said he has garnered adequate support of the electorate to guarantee his electoral victory in the presidential election. Buhari made the statement in Abuja at an emergency caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on Monday, February 18.

Speaking at the meeting, the president challenged agents of the APC at the forthcoming polls to be vigilant and watch out for the party’s interests at the polling units during the forthcoming general elections, The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

He stressed the need for APC members to reassure their constituents to come out and vote on the rescheduled dates.
